Apolinar Naz Herrera, 96 of Pearl City, Hawaii, passed away on July 22, 2021. He was born in Camalig, Albay, Philippines on July 23, 1924, and married his childhood sweetheart, Josefa Nebres Ceres, on November 19, 1944. He worked as an electrician in Subic Bay, Philippines, until he moved to Hawaii in 1976. He retired in 1993 as an electrician from the Army/Air Force Exchange Service at Fort Shafter, Hawaii, after 17 years of service. Apolinar dedicated his life to God and his family and extended the love of Christ to countless friends.
He is survived by his 2 sons, Fernando (Marilyn) Herrera, Jose (Alison) Herrera; 8 daughters, Hilda (Frank, deceased) Borja, Myrna (Efren) Cordial, Marcy Herrera, Nanette (Htoo) Winkyaw, Joy (Jesse) Mabellos, Julie (Wilfred) Jacinto, Cora (William) Dela Cruz, Lorna (Nilo) Ignacio; his 25 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
